Snohomish and Monroe Co-op are excited to announce that we have added some great products from Carpenito farms. They are another local business, (Kent WA) who produce great garden and yard products. These new additions all come in convenient to carry & load 1 cu foot bags.
Steer Gro:
Steer-Gro is a 50/50 mix of aged barnyard manure and sawdust. This ready-to-plant, all-natural soil amendment is best if mixed into your existing soil to add a healthy blend of nutrients and to loosen clay-like soil. Amending your soil with Steer-Gro will yield greener and healthier vegetable gardens, lawns, flowers, trees, shrubs and more. Add it to your existing soil to make excellent topsoil.
Chicken Manure:
All-natural, organic soil conditioner. Best used to amend existing soil & add essential nutrients. Ideal for vegetable & flower gardens, bulbs, roses, & small trees.
Potting soil:
Premium quality, all-purpose organic & natural potting soil. Ideal for indoor/outdoor organic container gardening. Professionally formulated with top-shelf organic & natural ingredients for optimal growth.
In 2024 we had quite a few requests for Beauty bark and Play Area Chips. We are very happy to say we found these as well for you!
Beauty Bark:
This 2 cubic foot bag of Medium Bark is the most popular and commonly used bark, and is approximately 1 1/2" minus in size. It's a mix of large and small pieces of Hemlock/Fir bark. Bark is the ideal product for a landscape mulch and ground cover, and is the best solution for weed control. Bark also conserves moisture in the soil and controls soil temperature. Apply 3" of bark every 2-3 years for the best results.
Play Chips:
This 2 cubic foot bag of Play Chips are an all-natural cedar wood chip product. This is most commonly used in children's play areas for its impact absorbency and durability. Also great for dog kennels and dog runs due to its odor absorbing and insect repelling properties. Play Chips can also be applied down on high traffic walkways due to its hardiness. The average size is 1" - 2 1/2" with some longer pieces. If it needs to meet any requirements, a sample should be obtained.
